Maeve Conran and Arjun Makhijani discuss the most neglected character that joins the two revolutions – Tom Paine, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States who not only famously wrote Common Sense but also participated in the French Revolution and sat in the Parliament there after the revolution.  Paine died a pauper in the US.

This is part of an ongoing series, Conversations on Money, Politics and Science, a bi-weekly segment with KGNU’s Maeve Conran and Arjun Makhijani of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research.

Listen to the conversation on The story of two revolutions. Recorded on July 6, 2017.
